Carlos Rodríguez-Sickert

obtained his BA in Economics from the Universidad Católica de Chile; and his PhD in Economics from the University of Cambridge, specializing in game theory. After he completed his Dissertation he returned to the Universidad Católica to accept a position at the Department of Sociology and became an International Fellow at the Santa Fe Institute. He currently works at the Faculty of Government at UDD. He is the Director of the PhD in Social Sciences that the UDD will inaugurate in 2013. Rodríguez-Sickert’s research currently focuses on the cultural and biological mechanisms, which allow humans to cooperate.
